I know that it will not be all just fun in it, but c’mon…Even if you have to do repetitve stuff, it is still fun to work playing videogames. I have been gaming all my life, ever since I was like 3 years old and got my SNES with the Super Mario World game with it. I’d love to become a VG tester and then broaden up to different areas of the gaming industry. A career in videogames, if you will.

I noticed you guys are a little confused about how to get a job as a video game tester.
If your under 18 you can still work on open beta tests for popular games online.This will help you later on if you show you have some experience spotting glitches more companies will be likely to hire you based on that alone.
Now if your 18 or you have your own bank account,it is possible to get a job online working part time as a freelance game tester.
I started online and eventully got a job working for bethesda studios.It does require you to purchae a membership though.
I found this place online called Game Tester Job Openings HQ (google it).
They have links to some of the most popular at home game tester recruiters that provide you with every thing you need to land a job in this fun industry.
This is how I landed my first job and I think it is the fastest way to get one without having friends that already work at a game developers location.
And the best part is you can get jobs from anywhere around the world from your computer.And all the work is done online through their servers to moniter your performance.
Just thought this would help you all so make suree to at least check it out.
